My passion has and always will be photography. Through my photos, I attempt to draw the viewer in and make them feel as if they are there with me. I have always called East Tennessee home and I have been an avid photographer for over 30 years. I am a Certified Photographer, having completed the Photography Certification Program through State Tech/Pellissippi Community College. I enjoy all types of photography, but mostly wildlife, scenic and nature.

Most of my photos are taken within the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee, particularly in Cades Cove. I love the cove for all that it is. A home to various species of wildlife, birds, insects and wildflowers. As well as a window into the past with old churches, cabins and homesites, and a place to just stop and take in all the breathtaking views. I try to capture as many elements of this area as I can. I am drawn back to the cove time and again. There is always something new to photograph. I am also lured to the rivers, streams and waterfalls of the Smokies. The cool, fresh water refreshes the soul as well as the body.

I am married with two adult children. My husband, Marc and I enjoy traveling in our Class C Motorhome. I plan the trips, with photo destinations in mind, and he gets us there along with our dog, Scout. Anywhere I travel, my camera is always by my side. A trusty companion on my life's journey. Please keep in mind that photography equipment, travel and time to do so can be very expensive. I am often asked for use of my photos for free. If you can use the low-res photo as it appears on my website with my logo on it and a link to my website, that is fine, with my permission. I am overwhelmed with emails asking for hi-res versions of my photos for various things, with the promise of a photo credit. After having numerous photos published with a photo credit, the novelty of that has worn off. If you want to use a hi-res photo for publication, I need to be compensated in some way.
