The Carter Shields cabin in Cades Cove is hands down, my favorite. I feel a connection to this cabin for some reason. I don't have any ancestors that I know of that ever lived in Cades Cove, but for some reason I am drawn to this cabin. I look at it every time I go by. Stopping often to take another shot to add to my collection. I saw this composition with the fence as I drove by and knew I needed to shoot it. The colors were perfect and so was the light. I have not seen the colors around this cabin look this good since the year I took this. I have photographed from this spot in all seasons now and am always thinking of new and different ways to capture an old favorite once again.
